MESSAGE FROM VOORS THEATER ARTS OWNER - JOANNE VOORS

It is my pleasure and my hope that I can guide children through a creative outlet where they can see that they can embrace their own unique ideas, gifts, and talents and put them out for others to see. I consistently nurture self-confidence and also a committed approach to Theater. Our kids today in general are feeling they have to be “perfect” in every endeavor, without giving it time and energy and so often give up at any sign of a challenge or feeling they are out of their comfort zone.  Theater can bring so much to the life of a child, and so my goal is to show them how to embrace a process and to see gradual results, not just through perfecting a performance but through maneuvering through a process and letting go of the outcome. This will bring personal self-growth as well as skills in public speaking, communication, empathy and teamwork.
I offer an organic way of learning, and a realistic theater experience where kids see how they can create and make it happen.

Here at Voors Theater Arts, we love theater, we love kids and the best of all is we love what we do!!!
Ms. Joanne (Owner/ Director/ Creator/ Instructor)
